After a few changes to the schedule, the 9th Annual Gettysburg National 19th Century Base Ball Festival is proud to announce its schedule for the upcoming festival on July 21-22. 21 clubs from all over America will converge on Gettysburg in this great mid-Summer classic.
Clubs will each play 4 games over the 2 days against clubs they have not seen for a while or some great re-matches that clubs wanted to play. Teams from Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Connecticut, New York, New Jersey, Maryland, Delaware, Ohio and Pennsylvania will be playing base ball the same way it was played in 1863 in Adams County using the same style uniforms and equipment of the day.
Games start on Saturday the 21st at 8:30 am and conclude around 5:30. On Sunday, the rest of the slate will be played starting at 8:00am and finishing up by about 4:00pm. The family oriented festival is free to fans. Gettysburg Little League will be once again manning the parking lot and they are accepting donations.
