As an event that has been in the community for over 12 years, we at the Gettysburg National 19th Century Base Ball Festival & Tournament feel that since the community has been so good to us over the last decade, that we want to give back as well. For instance, in 2021, we raised over $29,000 to save historic battlefield land in Gettysburg. Through our partnership with the American Battlefield Trust, we raised over $1,000 through the festival and it was matched 28:1 by an anonymous donor to bring the total to $29,000. For years, and 2021 was no exception, the Gettysburg Little League was able to raise a lot of revenue to pay for their kids for lights, rental fees, umpire fees, and more. In addition, we were a sponsor of the LK5K event to raise funds for cancer research. Coming soon you can click through this tab to learn more about these programs, and you can even donate yourself if you would like. Of course, the Gettysburg National 19th Century Base Ball Festival and Tournament is run by the Elkton Base Ball Club and Exhibition Company which is a nonprofit corporation and recognized as a 501c3 by the IRS so you can give to us too so that we can keep history alive!
